DESCRIPTION:Class Description\nThis advanced course teaches you the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for the protection of self and family. You will learn basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for home protection, responding to a violent confrontation, and the use of firearms within the law. It provides useful information on the law-abiding individual’s right to self-defense.  This event is held at a private outdoor range.  You will be emailed the address after signing up for the class.\nNotes\nStudents must be experienced shooters able to show mastery of the basic skills of safe gun handling, shooting a good group, firing from cover, and on the move to maximize a shooter’s ability to defend themselves and their family.\n\nWhat To Bring\n\nHandgun\nAmmunition – 400\nExtra Magazines – 1\nMagazine Pouch – 1\nEye & Ear Protection\nHolster\nRange Bag\nClose-toed Shoes\nFlashlight\nThick Belt\nWater / Beverage\n\n\n\nWhat Is Provided\n\nTargets – 10\n\n\nCancellation Policy\nStudents are required to reschedule at least 72 hours in advance of a class date. Classes rescheduled less than 72 hours before the class will forfeit class fees and be required to enroll in a new class. In the event that we cancel the class, students may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund.   A minimum of six students will be required or we will reschedule the class.\n
