Learn how to create layers of safety in your life to protect yourself and your family from today’s criminal. Attend the Refuse To Be A Victim® crime prevention and personal safety seminar, a program of the National Rifle Association. This seminar is open to men and women of all ages and costs $40 per person.
Classes are held on Sunday and Monday and cost $65 per student. The class meets all the education requirement for the Florida CCW permit. Once you take the class, you apply for your permit at the Brevard County Tax Collectors Office or the Department of Agriculture Office and your permit arrives by mail in about 2 weeks.
In this 9-hour course, you will learn proper gun handling, firearm safety, range procedures, about ammunition, and shooting fundamentals of revolvers and semi-automatic handguns. The course includes range time, firearms, and ammunition. This course is also a possible prerequisite for any of the personal defense courses we offer.
This course is for law-abiding adult citizens, as defined by applicable federal, state, or local law. This advanced course teaches you the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family. It provides useful information on the law-abiding individuals’ right to self-defense.
This intense 14-hour course teaches students the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential for avoiding dangerous confrontations and for the safe, effective and responsible use of a concealed pistol for self-defense outside the home. Students have the opportunity to attend this course using a quality strong side hip holster that covers the trigger, or a holster purse.
